been almost two years now

and still I get asked for help

I oblige and don’t think twice.

I gave my heart and dreams

still I give more then is deserved

after torment and no respect

two girls I loved as one

now both gone

randomly the hurt tears me up

We all attract certain people into our life who have developed qualities opposite to the ones we are most identified with. In other words, they mirror our disowned selves, and we mirror theirs. These are often the most highly emotionally charged relationships. We either love them, hate them, or both! We feel very attracted to them, and/or very uncomfortable, judgmental, annoyed, or frustrated with them. The stronger the feelings, the more important a mirror they are for us. We have drawn them into our reality to show us something about what we need to develop in ourselves. The fact that we have such strong feelings (one way or another) toward them means that they are showing us a part of ourselves we need to acknowledge, accept, and integrate. —

I can’t tell how thick it is

or if it has me surrounded

don’t know how tall or small

but I see my reflection in it

I focus on my faults and it closes in

so today I opened the door with my eyes

saw my friends and family living

and enduring and laughing together

I focused on the people in my life

and noticed these walls were breaking

I woke up said Hello can I join you?

she said so many things that made me love her

she laughed like a child and cried like an adult

she made me change my dreams and focus

they made the world seem real and true

I found love in a very dark time and place

only to watch it slip by because we were lost

we lost each other in a mix of bills and schedules

we forgot each other and what we had together

she kept my heart alive and beating

I still wanted to reach that goal and share eternity

but something took you away and stole that dream

and still so many days later I still miss my girl..

new favorite band hurray for the riff raff..check them out most excellent!! just saying thanks enjoy

the light has broken through and warmed

the hearts and souls melted the winter chill

dismissed the cold culprit that bounds us inside

trapped for months we can now roam free

intoxicating sun has lifted us higher and relieved

us from our internal domains now we forge out into

life and share this warmth once again with all who pass us by

we explode with joy and love ready to share it with all

thank you glorious spring you awaken such a thrill.

here I sit thinking of everything around me how I got here

god put me here hoping a spirit would emerge and make this world a better place

not a gas guzzler mansion building selfish bastard

but a human who has compassion and a hope he can better this world

that we all call home.so I sit here and type these words in a hope that other

humans feel the same inclination to do something to better the lives of anyone around them

anything you do make it something you are proud of and would reflect

a gracious gift that was giving to all of us .
